A very sad moment came in the past couple of days. My beloved PC has given up the ghost and died in fit of BSOD. I think the motherboard has blown on it to be perfectly honest. I am now completely game less
until tuesday that is
because…..IT’S UPGRADE TIME!!!!!!!
Stacy has given me the goahead to purchase some new kit to play all my games on, and I can’t wait
I am going to upgrade to
Foxconn SKT939 Nforce4-SLI chipset DDR400 Dual Gigabit LAN SATAII ATX Motherboard
Asus 7600GS SILENT 512MB DDR2 PCI-E (two of)
and then when I get a little more money off of the things i have on ebay I shall be buying some memory and shiny new case for it all to go into
Can’t wait….

Well today has been the second day of my return to the gym. Did 45 minutes in there with my old training partner. It was down to him persuading me to come back that I’m doing all this. We did Back and a bit of tricep excersises which, with me being totally out of shape really worked me. Got home just after 7.30 and decided to do something that I don’t do very often….go for a run. It was only a small run round the block as it were (it consists of running along the trail at the back of my house and round so that i come in a full cirle to where i started. I guess it’s about half a mile but it certainly had me breathing heavy and sweating so it must be doing some good)
Thursday will be a cardio only work out so that I can get to work on me beer gut and get itdown to something like ready for the summer and the show season
I Weighed myself yesterday on the scales at home and I came in at 15st 08lbs. Ideally i want to start by getting my first stone off and then coming down to around 12st ish.
Progress report to come next week.

Went on a little trip yesterday. Work wanted me to change one of our branches over to a distibution branch and set one of our “member” companies up with online ordering.
Whilst on the M1, I was taking in the drab scenery and something caught my eye that looked familar. I wasn’t sure at first but got closer to have a look and saw this

It wa “Ratfink” the only reason i recognised it was, a guy on maxxd did a really interesting a detailed insight into drag racing which was a thoroughly good read.
Staples corner was it’s usual busy self with what seemed like the whole driving population had converged there at the same time. Managed to find the hotel I was stopping in and it was pretty nice. Lots of shops and things to do. Grabbed a bite to eat and pint in the restaurant downstairs courtesy of work
From my window was the usual greyness that is in abundance in any urban location. But something made this view different. The new wembly stadium was in the background and looked magnificent.

I got up really early to beat the traffic on the M25 seriously didn’t want to be part of Wednesday morning’s motorway carpark, while all the fatcats in the mercs and bently’s tried to get to work. After another 98 mile south got to Canterbury and installed the system by dinner time.
Once I’d tooled up I went on my travels again to find the hotel. All i can say is that the travel inn on the A2 Canterbury Dunkirk is not worth the 49 quid to stop there per night. There is absolubtly fuck all out there.
So at 1pm I decided that i wasn’t gonna stay and made the 4 hour journey home
